One of my aims with this blog is to encourage reflection. It’s my opinion that in the hustle and bustle we don’t take enough time to stop and deeply consider those things that are critically important to shaping the world we live in. Leadership is one of those things.
On the passing of Andy Grove Clayton Christensen offered a reflection of the leadership of his friend. Here’s a link. It’s a quick read but, one worth reflecting on more deeply.
Christensen’s remarks on Gove’s leadership are framed by four perspectives; what insights do you gain when you reflect on your leadership from these vantage points? How about when you reflect on the leadership of others in your organisation? What do these four frames say to you about organisational change?
I want to explore the themes of Christensen’s blog as starting points for conversations in future posts. Until then, enjoy the quite.
